What Scholarship Covers | Timing |
Achieving Your CAE | Candidates that qualify or will be qualified in the next year, to take the Certified Association Executive exam. | The award of $500 can be applied to anything related to attaining your CAE (books, exam fee, Study Group, etc.) or to re-certification. Qualifier: you must take the exam within one year of being granted the award. |
The CAE exam takes place in December and May each year.
CalSAE study groups (virtual) meet weekly for 8 to 10 weeks before each exam.

Advancing Together Mentoring Program | Those who are newer or at the mid-career level. | The $500 registration fee is waived. | Sign-ups begin in May; the "match" runs from June through November. |
Aspire: The Academy for Next Gen Association Leadership | Association professionals at the manager or director level. | Tuition is waived and any transportation costs incurred to travel to Sacramento will be reimbursed. |
In-person kickoff: Feb 13, 2025 in Sacramento. Virtual Sessions are 9 am -11 am on: 2/27, 3/27, 4/24)

ELEVATE Annual Conference | Mid and upper-association management. For more event info click here. | This award provides complimentary registration, three nights at the host hotel, and reimbursement of travel expenses. |

Learning Fund | Newer to associations or at a mid-career level, and those who may not be able to travel to other events. | $250 "credit" that can be applied for registration at any in-person or virtual program. | Can be applied to any program in 2025. |
Scholarship applications will be reviewed by the Leadership Development Committee and recipients announced in late January.
