As a senior consultant, Debbie Trueblood supports associations with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training; ethics; governance; and strategic planning. She is drawn to working with associations because she truly believes they have the power to change the world. Outside of AMC, she serves on the boards for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the National Association of Park Foundations (NAPF). She is on faculty for the ASAE Exceptional Boards program, was the 2018-2019 Chair of the ASAE Ethics Committee, and is past chair of Association Forum's Welcoming Environment Committee. Debbie received the Diversity Section Icon award in 2019 from Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA). Under her leadership, her former association received four ASAE Power of Association awards. She received Association Forum's "Forty Under Forty" award in 2014. Outside of AMC, you’ll find her supporting live theater and spending time with family.
