LevelUP Your Volunteer Engagement:
From Onboarding to Impact
Volunteers are the backbone of associations. They are passionate and dedicated to your organization’s mission. They provide support, an outward perspective, and recommendations to your organization and by extension, the industry you serve. But too many associations don’t properly onboard, train, or engage their loyal and faithful volunteers in any kind of organized fashion.
The path to volunteer success awaits you! Join us for an interactive exploration of a proper onboarding journey. Discover how to empower your volunteers to feel connected, prepared, and supported in their role every step of the way. Plus how to unlock the next level - getting board members to serve as ambassadors and connecting volunteers to your organizational strategic plan/mission.
Gain access to CalSAE's volunteer toolkit and chair orientation process developed collaboratively by staff and volunteer leaders. Be enlightened to effective practices you can implement within your own organization.
In addition, gain insights from the ASAE Research Foundation’s study, Holistic Approach to Association Volunteer Management which found a significant gap between organizational goals, the needs of staff, and the expectations of volunteers.
Walk away with the tools you need to best support your loyal volunteers and build a mutually beneficial - and lasting - relationship.
