Empowering women to navigate challenges, embrace opportunities, and cultivate lasting personal and professional growth.

Back for it's third year, CalSAE is delighted to offer a refreshed Ladies Who Lead program full of networking, connecting and learning. Begin the day by giving back to the community, then ease into intentional dialogue with colleagues old and new. Then dive into two immersive workshops where you will hear from thought leaders and trailblazers - while also building relationships with your peers. Enjoy delicious food in a relaxing location - culminating with a rooftop happy hour with tasty treats. You deserve this! Make time for yourself and join us for a meaningful day where the focus is just on you - and your own personal and professional goals. Check out the agenda for the full scoop.

New this year! We'll be incorporating the opportunity to support a charity benefiting women - more details coming soon...

Inspirational Speakers

Sparking Genius: Nurturing Flow for Personal & Professional Success

Diane Allen, Flow State Speaker & Violinist

Are the demands of problem-solving and relentless pressure diminishing your drive? While you steer your team to achieve your goals, is burnout a concern? What if the key to being at the top of your game and feeling deeply fulfilled is something you already know how to do? Have you ever been so immersed that you lost complete track of time, ideas and insights were coming in from out of the blue, and things were coming together with a sense of ease? Those moments when you were “getting into it” like a musician “gets into” in the music? During these kinds of experiences, you were in flow. What if you could get into flow on demand? Author Diane Allen is a global authority on the flow state. With her Copper Dragon violin you'll embark on a FlowQuest™, an immersive journey to experience flow while you're learning about it. Diane weaves live musical performance, scientific principles, storytelling, positive psychology, inspiration, and actionable steps so you can be in your genius and love what you do.

Seize the Day with Self-care: Prioritizing Your Well-Being

Alegre Ramos, MBA, DTM, LEED AP, Bestselling author, Podcast Host, Co-Founder, BYWD

Do mornings begin with a sense of energy and readiness to seize the day? Or is getting out of bed a struggle, with an internal gas tank already running low and dreams of returning to the pillow? Most people fall somewhere along this spectrum, and the challenges of balancing life’s demands are universal. Learn from a seasoned pro who truly understands these all-too-real struggles. With over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience across diverse industries like property management, retail, and gourmet food manufacturing, plus navigating the roles of parenthood, marriage, and care-giving, Alegre Ramos gets it and her own stories to share. The lesson learned is clear: self-care is healthcare. For years, the belief that "doing it all" meant sacrificing personal well-being led to burnout. The realization came that self-care must be an intentional, daily practice—not an occasional indulgence.

In this engaging and participatory session you will be guided to create a personalized morning ritual that nurtures the mind, body, and soul. Backed by brain science, these habits become effortless routines, enabling each day to start with energy, focus, and resilience - so you can step into your best self.
