Leadership Development is essential for any organization that wants to grow, change, and be ready for the future. It’s also a requirement if you want to be prepared when an opportunity arises. Tap into the strengths of the team and providing opportunities for people to develop leadership abilities, we can create superheroes. Leaders who create other leaders promote sustainability. Put together superheroes with a variety of superpowers and you’ve got a formidable team!

Content Leader
Becky Lunders, Founder, Consultant and Trainer, teamWorks 

Becky Lunders brings experience in the corporate, nonprofit and media sectors. She honed her leadership development skills while at the American Cancer Society. She oversaw the Relay For Life program in California which grew from 24 events raising $4.1 million to more than 300 events raising $31 million under her watch. Becky knows how to train, motivate and inspire volunteers and staff to reach strategic goals while fulfilling the organizational mission.

Becky is a consultant, cheerleader and coach all wrapped up in one. She is a dynamic facilitator, a poised presenter and a skilled coach. She has a unique ability to connect with her audience and motivate people. Becky graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. She has immersed herself in leadership development most of her life. Becky is based in the Northern California town of Loomis. She enjoys working out, spending time with her husband, and cheering on her amazing kids in sports.

Bay Area Gives Back

Get in the holiday spirit and give back while attending this event. The Boom Pow Giveback Activity is a team building/service activity where groups create a two-part superhero gift for kids in need. The gifts are then donated to beneficiaries such as the Ronald McDonald House, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital/Family House or any organization you support.

Attire - Holiday business casual. Choose to embrace the education session theme - go superhero with a festive flare or if that's not your jam show your jolly side however you prefer from ugly sweaters to seasonal bling! We will be spending some time on the patio for the networking portion, so make sure to layer up to accommodate the crisp Bay Area weather.
